Homework

Homework Policy                                                                                                                                                                         Everyday students write their homework assignments from the board into their personal homework book.  This task is designed to build responsibility. On a typical night, a student should have multiple homework assignments, these assignments will vary depending on what we are studying in class. In addition, 30 minutes of nightly reading is expected and will be recorded in a log. Homework is designed to be completed on the day that it is assigned unless otherwise noted. If you find that your child is taking too long to complete homework or the work is too challenging, please let me know immediately.Your child should be able to complete homework with little guidance. I suggest that parents review a few questions and then allow your child to complete the rest independently.  If possible, check his/her work when completed. Immediate feedback is a powerful tool.
